How Stray Lights Came to be...

Owner Chris Strayer in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, started stray Lights in 1999. The started the company as a hobby as he found great interest in concert, stage lighting and production. Some of the first pieces of equipment that he purchased were 8 par can, 2 dimmers and a controller. Chris later turned his hobby and interest into was is now know as Stray Lights Over the years, by the grace of God the company has grown and has served customers in many states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Michigan, New Jersey, & Illinois just to name a few. Chris still owns those original cans that he used to start the company however lifts, trusses, moving lights, spot lights are just a few of the many pieces of equipment that have been purchased over the years to better serve clients.

In 2001 Stray Lights started moving into the installation business after being asked by a friend to help do an install of a lighting system in there new church building. Since then Stray Lights has helped other churches with lighting systems for many applications.

In early 2005 Stray Lights took the next step and become a dealer for many great companies including Levinton/NSI and Applied Electronics. This now allows them to be able to offer competitive pricing to its customer on everything from lamps, to truss and more!

While Stray Lights focuses on lighting they do offer sound reinforcement production and installations too.
